Job Description
Manage the existing and new product development lifecycle of hardware and associated AI software solutions related to enhancing system performance and efficiency of EverestLabs’ robotics sorting system.
Simulate different robotic arms in different environments using FANUC’s and Mitsubishi’s software suite to determine the ideal arm, mounting position, and enhance the pick efficiency.
Gather technical requirements and propose deployment solutions to customers based on the plant layout, configuration, and best practices in industrial automation for outdoor environment.
Research, lead, design, and develop robot end effectors, grippers, suction systems, and encoder mounts using pneumatic systems, CAD and 3D printing to increase the throughput of the robot cell thereby increasing the efficiency of the sorting process.
Integrate cameras, sensors, and switches into electronic modules and cable assemblies using ethernet/CAN to provide data and alerts to the MRF operators on the efficiency of the robot, plant and determine predictive failures of existing machineries.
Define and execute the product roadmap for fully integrated robotic systems for use in materials recovery facilities (MRFs) using JIRA.
Develop business intelligence (BI) tools using Looker to structure the data from the database and present the findings to the customers and internal stakeholders to improve the efficiency of the facilities.
Responsible for the execution of finite element analysis (FEA) ranging from simple linear static analysis to complex non-linear static and linear response dynamic analysis on robot arm using ANSYS software.
Work in cross-functional teams with sales and marketing to gather and prioritize product and customer pain-points and prioritize the development of technical features using JIRA and CA Clarity.
Develop relationships with existing and prospective EverestLabs customers to (a) deliver Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) (b) identify new markets, and (c) find new product opportunities.
Drive full documentation of design including BOM, drawings, procedures, and processes.
Prototyping automation applications using Python and C .
Manage supply chain with vendors and 3rd party stakeholders.

Minimum Requirement
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or very closely related field, plus 3 years of work experience.
